It really sucks that you went through this. I was in a situation where I was invited out to NY to spend time with a friend who needed consoling. Not only did I wait, only for this person not to show, but I also ended up having my purse stolen.
Needless to say, this put a damper in the friendship we were trying to build.
Well that was some bullshit right there...fuckouttahere. You did the right thing...hook or crook, I woulda got my ass up and left, too...but, I DEFINITELY would've given her a stern finger shaking. Some cuss words might have been involved though.
